UTTS 1.0 (Unizik Tech Talent Showcase) was a university-wide innovation event organised by STIT in collaboration with Anambra Techies. It brought together tech and non-tech students at UNIZIK to build solutions, form teams, and present impactful ideas to judges and stakeholders.
UTTS 1.0 held on Thursday, 16th July 2026 at the University Auditorium, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka. It was a full-day event that saw 10 finalist teams pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
🥇 1st Place: UNILO — Student Housing Ecosystem (Lead: Okpala Patrick, Computer Science, 200 Level) 🥈 2nd Place: FUUUD — Health & Nutrition Intelligence (Lead: Nwafor Favour Chigozirim, Computer Science) 🥉 3rd Place: KONSTRUKT — AI Infrastructure for Engineering Design (Lead: Okpara Divine Kelechukwu, Computer Engineering)
The top three teams received cash prizes: 1st Place – ₦300,000 | 2nd Place – ₦200,000 | 3rd Place – ₦100,000. All 10 finalist teams also received certificates and official recognition.
